THE ROSTER TO HIKE IS ALREADY FULL!!

(buuuuut we’ve had a few people drop out already, so if you want to hike we may still have room)

I have to cap at 30 people it due to campsite/national park restrictions on the trail. I will let people continue to sign up beyond the 30 in case others drop out… but I may have to unfortunately anyone who signs up now may not be able to hike on the same days. I’ll brainstorm if there is some alternative way for additional people to hike/participate and keep everyone in the loop.

Here’s the deal! If you want to join on the 100 mile hike that would be awesome! Here are a few things you need to know. It goes over two mountain ranges that border Tucson, AZ. If you live here… great! If not… great! It’s beautiful and this is a great way to see what souther AZ has to offer. This hike is 100% self supported. There won’t be any medics or water stations. Treat it as if you are going on a through hike like with 29 of your best through hike friends. There is a suggested route but we make no guarantees we can keep track of everyone. Portions of the hike go through Saguaro National Park which only allows camping in 2 designated areas. We have one of them booked for 30 people. Other portions we may have to fend for ourselves as best we can in walkup campgrounds or dispersed campsites.

This is a LEAVE NO TRACE hike. You have to bury your poop, pack out your TP and trash, and be generally kind to nature. We will have to split the group in half through the National Park in order to make sure we are being low impact, so one night we will sleep in two smaller groups.

I want us all to do this hike IN COSTUME! The whole goal is to make a spectacle with 30 hotdogs walking through the woods. We will have plenty of photographers, news and regular folk coming out to take shots of us. The Spirit Halloween hotdog costume is the recommended one. Im trying to get some donated but I will post about that soon. I’ve hiked in one a considerable amount now and it is warm but shockingly comfortable and light, plus allows plenty of leg and arm movement. No guarantees, but I’m hoping to get people who pop out and support us along the route at campgrounds and road crossings. Trail magic is pretty likely. If this all sounds amazing to you please sign up to join us! It’s gonna be a ton of fun!

You can still sign up below and be on the reserve roster in case we have dropouts but right now we are at our 30 hotdog limit :/

SO YOU WANNA HIKE A HUNDED MILES DRESSED AS A HOTDOG?!
